Fees & how it works
No seed phrases, no exchanges, no gas to buy first. Here is every hop between your payment and your coin, and every fee along the way.
You tap to pay
With Apple Pay, Google Pay, a card (gift cards too) or Revolut Pay, processed by Stripe. Or with SOL from any wallet or exchange.
Your order gets its own wallet
Each order has a one-time wallet. For card payments our treasury puts the exact SOL your launch needs into it; with SOL, you send it there yourself.
Your coin is minted
That wallet creates your coin on pump.fun with your wallet as the creator, and makes your first buy.
Everything comes to you
Your coins, and any SOL left over, go to your wallet. The order wallet ends empty. Every step has an on-chain receipt.
Fees
Every amount is on the screen before you tap, and on your receipt after.
Coin creation, network costs and a little SOL for your first trades
Goes into your coin's curve in full, plus 3.5% card processing
From its page, delivered to your wallet
Plus network costs; whatever is not spent comes back
On every trade on the curve, set by pump.fun. Part of it goes to the coin's creator: you
Questions
A brand-new coin on Solana, created on pump.fun, with your wallet named as its creator. Every time someone trades it, pump.fun pays a creator fee to that wallet. Add a first buy and you hold those coins from the very first second.
No. Pick the Tap Wallet and one is created right here in your browser: nothing to download, no seed phrase on day one. Back it up or move it into Phantom whenever you like. Already use Phantom, Solflare or Backpack? Connect that instead.
Apple Pay, Google Pay, Visa, Mastercard and Amex (debit, credit and prepaid), Revolut Pay and Link where available, or SOL from any wallet or exchange.
Usually. Prepaid cards are charged like any other card, though some need a ZIP or postcode registered first and some issuers block online payments. If yours gets declined, try Apple Pay or another card.
$4.99 by card, all in. A first buy costs exactly what it buys, plus card processing, and you see the total before you pay. Paying in SOL? 0.01 SOL plus network costs, and anything unused is sent back.
If the coin can't be created, you get everything back, to your card or in SOL. If the coin launches but the first buy can't, you keep the coin and that part is refunded. Every order has a receipt linking each transaction.
Not safely. Exchanges and banking apps only accept coins they already list, so a brand-new coin sent there can vanish. Use a wallet you control: the Tap Wallet, Phantom, Solflare or Backpack.
Probably not, and nobody can promise otherwise. Memecoins have no intrinsic value and most end at zero. Do it for fun, spend only what you can afford to lose, and never promise anyone a return.
